Pathway Search is working with a local Nashville start up healthcare organization as they look to bring on a Controller to lead their Accounting and Finance teams.  This position will report directly to the CEO and CFO and will initially manage a team of 5.  The Controller will be responsible for creating and implementing policies and procedures, audit readiness, streamlining/automation of monthly and quarterly reporting, staffing/building out the accounting department, and providing direct leadership and support to strategic/growth planning activities. 

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in healthcare industry
• CPA highly preferred
• Experience in start up environment highly preferred
• Experience leading a team of at least 7 direct reports
• Track record of successful team building and process/policy implementation required
