Pathway Search is working with a growing PE-backed healthcare organization in the Nashville area as they look to add a Senior Accountant to their team. Our client is looking for someone who is ready to take their career to the next level, as this position has a built in track for upward mobility. The position will report directly to the VP of Finance and will have regular interaction with the C-suite and PE group.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP, state and federal tax regulations, and company policies.
- Ultimately responsible for integrity of AP Sub-ledger and related open receiving including accurate and timely processing of company-wide accounts payable, full disbursement cycle through bank reconciliations, system vendor master record updates, including discounts and terms, 1099s, etc.
- Develops, implements, and maintains systems, procedures and policies, training materials and A/P processes to ensure adherence to Company guidelines.
- Supports preparation and review of payroll in collaboration with HumanResources.
- Generate insightful financial analyses to support decision-making processes.
- Provide variance analyses and communicate financial performance to key stakeholders, including the VP of Finance, the CEO, and the company’s private-equity sponsors.
- Coordinate with the company’s external audit and tax providers during annual audits and tax filing deadlines.
- Coordinate with accounting individuals at various locations to ensure consistency and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Provide guidance and support to site-specific personnel.
- Support integration of new add-on partnerships into accounting processes and financial reporting.
Qualifications:
- CPA and public accounting experience highly preferred
- At least 3 years of total experience required
- Integration experience preferred
- Multi-site healthcare accounting experience highly preferred
