Pathway Search is working with a high-growth healthcare organization as they look to add a Senior Accountant to their team.  This Senior Accountant will report directly to the Assistant Controller and will have regular interaction with the C-suite, operations team, and investors.  The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience, with experience in public accounting being highly preferred.  This organization has been growing steadily through acquisition and the addition of new lines of business over the past 3 years and is looking for someone who can add value supporting continued growth and expansion of the accounting department.

Responsibilities:

• Bank/account reconciliations and review of staff-level work
• Posting and review of journal entries
• Ownership of the month end close process for all assigned lines of business
• Monthly and quarterly variance analysis
• AR and cash flow analysis and reporting
• Assist in continuous improvement projects related to financial reporting
• Assist the Controller in all activities related to acquisition integration and due diligence
• Work directly with external auditors 

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of full-cycle accounting experience is required
• CPA preferred
• Experience in public accounting highly preferred
